The department of neonatal resuscitation

It is located in the modernly equipped reanimation halls №3 and has 6 beds.

Equipment:

1. reanimation table for new-born IW950 with a lamp and heater with an infrared lamp, photometrical batcher of oxygen;
2. block for pulsoxymetria and saturation;
3. automatic electric exhaust;
4. the block of arterial pressure definition integrated with thermoprinter;
5. electronic scales;
6. lamp for phototherapy;
7. apparatus for artificial pulmonary ventilation Bear CUB 750 SV;

This set is meant for equipment of 4 complete reanimation places, in addition:

1. apparatus for artificial pulmonary ventilation “Infant-star”, “Newport” E 100 M;
2. pulsoxymeters YUTASOKSI 200, 201;
3. phototherapy system NDKN 50716;
4. infuzion pumps;
5. clinical incubator ICB-147.

Basic directions of work:

• to provide reanimation help and conduct intensive treatment and taking care of new-born

Methods:

1. primary reanimation in a complete volume according to protocol;
2. support and correction of functions of vitally important organs and system namely: endotrakheal introduction of artificial surfactants “Kurosorf”, “Sukrim”, conducting of parenteral feeding, normalization of gemodinamics, antishock therapy.
3. the new-borns neurosonografy examination;
4. active mother’s participation in the care of sick child, breastfeeding etc.

Perspectives:

• introducting methods of rasing children with a mass less than 1000 g with application of the systems of the opened and closed types, different modes of artificial pulmonary ventilation;
• equipping the department of modern diagnostic apparatuses: laboratory equipment with the set of reagents for definition acid-base state and blood gases, which use the microdozes of blood; mobile X-ray apparatus.
